Coronavirus (COVID-19): updates to our service
If you have a rheumatology follow up appointment already booked you can have your appointment over the phone to avoid travel to the hospital.
If you are have tested positive for coronavirus and are being managed in either the community or hospital, you should notify the rheumatology department via the rheumatology advice line.
In order to help inform your treatment, we will need to record the following details:
- your age
- your gender
- your underlying rheumatological diagnosis
- you current medication
- any other relevant health conditions
The government has released guidance on shielding for patients who are extremely vulnerable.
Check to see if your rheumatology treatment makes you a high risk patient.
