The Radiopharmacy facility at Cheltenham General is currently closed

An equipment failure led to flooding in a plant room at Cheltenham General Hospital in the early hours of 15 May. The on-call Estates Team responded swiftly, working through the night to clear up the water and ensure the area was safe.

The Radiopharmacy facility has been closed and until the full extent of the damage has been assessed, we do not yet know when it will re-open.

  • We are working with another hospital to ensure high-priority diagnostic imaging continues and that cancer treatments are not disrupted.

We apologise for any disruption that may have been caused.
